AI usage

AI use is permitted and encouraged, but every output remains the team’s responsibility.

Repository declarations

The root README records whether the repository uses AI code generation, inline editing, and code review. Code-generation commits must include an Assisted-by trailer.

Example:

chore(repo): add initial application scaffold

Task-level register

Record each material use in evidence/ai/ai-usage-register.csv with:

  • date;
  • team member;
  • tool and model;
  • purpose and brief task;
  • output used;
  • how it was checked or changed; and
  • related issue, Pull Request, commit, or document.

Do not claim that AI output was verified until a team member has actually understood, tested, reviewed, and adapted it.
