AI usage

AI use is permitted and encouraged, but every output remains the team’s responsibility.

Repository declarations

The root README records whether the repository uses AI code generation, inline editing/autocomplete, and AI-assisted code review. The declaration must be reconciled with the task-level registers rather than relying on memory. Code-generation commits must include an Assisted-by trailer.

Task-level register

Record each material use in the team member's CSV under evidence/ai/registers/ with:

  • date;
  • team member;
  • tool and model;
  • purpose and brief task;
  • output used;
  • how it was checked or changed; and
  • related issue, Pull Request, commit, or document.

Do not claim that AI output was verified until a team member has actually understood, tested, reviewed, and adapted it.
